2012 Lord Deramore (Battle of Britain) Golf Competition
Qualifying For Fulford, York

This event has been running for 50 years and has historically been competed for by RAF Units around the UK as well as RAFA and the host clubs of Easingwold and Fulford. The event takes the form of a 4 person team stableford. The maximum playing handicap is 24 for all competitors.

To reward the winners of the medals throughout the year it has been decided that the AWC GS shall send 2 teams to this event in the future. Each team member will be subsidized by £10 towards the cost of playing.

All Medal Winners during the year (starting from Oct) will qualify to play. If a medal winner has already qualified, then the 2nd place in the latest medal shall qualify, and so forth. The names will then be drawn out of a hat to decide the two teams. If for any reason a medal winner cannot play then the above principle shall also be used.

Please remember that this is restricted to handicaps of 24 which does not mean that handicaps of 25 and above cannot play, but they would have to play off 24 and also off white tees.
